A recent article, 4 Keys to Mastering the Art of Delegation by Michael Mamas says that many business owners believe they need to be in the business 24/7 (feeling they have to do everything themselves) to thrive, but actually this is recipe for disaster.

Here are three ways to liberate yourself from the bondage and help your business thrive.

1. Delegate tasks

Liberate yourself from too much workload by delegating tasks so you can focus on the core of your business— find ways to improve the efficiency of how things are being done, discover the latest in marketing or find new products or services for customers and clients.

2. Delegate wisely

Make sure to assign or delegate the task to the right person in order to get more things done and obtain better output. However, always be ready to step in when necessary to keep your business in executive suites Philly running smoothly.

3. Create a backup personnel.

There should be a backup person for every task you assign/delegate in order to keep the entire business dynamic operational even if the person assigned to that certain tasks get sick or quits. You can schedule a meeting in meeting space Philly to discuss your backup plan with your key staff to ensure that no task becomes dependent to one individual alone.

A recent article, 7 Roles Every Startup Founder Must Learn to Play by Andrew Gazdecki says that an entrepreneurship  requires dedication, flexibility and the willingness to play different roles.

Here are seven significant roles you must learn to play if you’re thinking of starting a business in Charlotte.

1. The Believer

First and foremost, have zeal and passion in your business idea. Lead, inspire and motivate a team to help you get many people to believe your idea as much as you do. Believe in what you do and create direction with vision.

2. The Planner

You must present an idea and direction for others to place their faith in. Strategic planning and openness to criticism is required especially when things aren’t going the way you had hoped.

3. The Decision-Maker

This is one of the most significant roles in order to succeed. You have the final say, it’s your responsibility to evaluate the situation, weigh potentials and make tough calls. For instance, should you rent Charlotte Shared Office Space or Charlotte Executive Office Space for your business? You must have a proactive mindset to make the right choices.

4. The Informer

You need to be transparent to your shareholders and investors, what’s going on with the business, what the company will do and will not do (by doing this, you gain respect and enthusiasm that leads you to success).

5. The Chief Accountant

It’s your job to manage and control revenue, investments and expenses in order to grow your business.

6. The Salesperson

You need to sell your idea 24/7, develop your profile and nourish your brand reputation.

7. The Responder

Your role as responder depends on your ability to listen. Get feedback as much as you can to help develop and improve your product.

A recent article, A Little Gratitude Can Go a Long Way by Jacqueline Whitmore says that success is more fulfilling when you are grateful—thanking all the helpful people in your life personally and professionally. While it is sometimes easier to be thankful in our personal lives, we shouldn’t forget to incorporate gratitude into our work lives as well.

Here are tips to foster gratefulness in your business in executive suites Denver.

  1. Cultivate the habit of being grateful in your organization. Gratefulness fosters a better quality of life and reduces stress. Make it a habit to start every meeting in meeting space Denver on a positive note. Appreciate the whole team for their hard work and dedication, give credit where credit is due. Also, you can ask staff to share kind thoughts and something to be thankful for every day.
  2. Don’t hesitate to show your gratitude to the people who work hard and help your company succeed. Recognize their hard work and dedication by saying “thanks, keep up the good work” or a pat on the back can go a long way.  You can also express your gratitude by rewarding them in kind with something such as a gift card to a local coffee shop or offer a surprise bonus of a few extra hours leave. Your gratitude will motivate them to continue to help you grow your business.
  3. Be sincere when expressing gratitude. Verbalize your gratitude wholeheartedly and thank them in person.  Cite your reason or an instance of what the other person did to cause you to be thankful for their words, efforts or consideration. Your appreciation will be valued even higher and will inspire others to pay it forward.

A recent article,   9 Things That Make Good Employees Quit by Dr. Travis Bradberry says that turnover of good employees is costly and disruptive. Nevertheless this problem can be avoided if managers will learn to understand the reasons why the best employees leave the organizations.

Let’s discuss them one by one.

Increase workload

If you only increase the workload of talented people without giving them anything like raises, promotions and title-changes (which are all appropriate ways to compensate them), they will feel like they are being abused and cause them to seek greener pastures.

Hire or promote the wrong people

Efficient and hard-working employees want to work with like-minded professionals.  Thus, when you heedlessly hire or promote the wrong people, it’s a major cause of dissatisfaction for those stuck working alongside them.

Ungrateful manager

Everyone likes to be appreciated, especially those who work hard and give their best. Managers who don’t say “thank you” or give a pat on the back for a job well done are burdensome to work with.

Uncaring boss

It’s very taxing to work for more than eight hours a day with someone who doesn’t care about anything other than sales and profits.

Unfulfilled promises

Making promises to people puts you in a critical situation where you can make them very happy or disappointed and leave. So when you’re not true to your promises, you seem to become insensible and unreliable.

Limited chance to grow

Talented employees are passionate and innovative, depriving them the ability to grow because you’re comfortable with the status quo, makes them bored and causes them to seek other jobs that will challenge their intellects.

Conclusion

Retaining your talented employees means to treat them as precious jewels. After all, they are the backbone of your organization. A workplace where everyone is not just required to show up, but happily comes every day is one great aspect of retaining best employees. A recent article, 7 Must Follow Holiday Marketing Tips by Kristen Vanstrom says that the holiday season is the most awaited time for businesses, when sales are higher than usual.

Here are marketing tips to make your business in Ballantyne Team Office Space profitable this holiday season.

1. Make sure to use the appropriate channels for your campaign.

It’s very important to know where your audiences are and connect with them. Book a meeting in meeting space Ballantyne with your team to discuss the appropriate ways and channels to deliver your messages.  For instance, if you’re running seven-day specials, you can use email to promote this offer.   If you’re offering a three hour discount, you can send out a group text campaign or post on social media. These two methods are instantaneous, and will promote the best response.

2. Use the old traditions.

Think of a marketing campaign based on old traditions that are already engraved in the minds of the consumers. For instance, Santa Claus depicts holiday seasons, thus people will recognize this symbol and immediately connect it with your campaign.

3. Make room for new traditions.

New traditions will give you the opportunity to build up your brand in an evergreen way. For example, Starbucks is known to serve beverages in red cups to depict holiday seasons.  Nowadays, Elf on the Shelf is one of the best examples of a new tradition that has dominated the nation.

4. Don’t spend too much.

Word of Mouth marketing goes up during holidays because people gather together and talk about many things. These include what products and brands they’re using, how it benefits their lives, etc. Take the main stage this holiday season by focusing on memorable campaigns.

A recent article, Crisis Management Tips for Small Business Owners by Norman Guadagno says that difficulties and failures are part of being an entrepreneur, especially when you’re in the early stages of your business.  Don’t despair; you will come through it all as long as you are determined to pursue your business journey.

Here are a few tips to help you deal with crises when they arise in your small business in small office space Ballantyne.

1. Keep a positive attitude

When things get rough and bumpy, keep calm and composed so you can think reasonably and focus yourself on finding the right solutions. Remember, difficulties and failures can teach you valuable lessons that you can use in your decision making.

2. Identify the issue clearly and make a plan to resolve it

Sit down and evaluate the situation. If it’s an urgent situation, address that first. For example, if you’re sending out wrong communications to customers through different medium, refrain from doing that immediately. Then do what it takes to correct the situation–you can schedule a meeting in meeting space Ballantyne with your team to discuss the issue and make a clear step-by-step plan to fix it.

3. Seek expert advice and help when needed

As a small business owner, you can’t do it all, so it is important to know your limitations and ask help from an outside expert or consultant if necessary. Asking help from an expert can reduce the risks of damage to your business.

Are you looking for an inexpensive yet effective marketing strategy for your startup to start advertising your brand?  A recent article, 5 Dirt Cheap Yet Effective Marketing Strategies for Startups by Rushal Patel says that there are many ways that your business can get exposure without spending a lot using digital resources and social sharing.

Here are four inexpensive marketing tips to help spread awareness about your company in Denver.

Connect and build relationships with influential people.

Spreading the word about your business by influential people in your industry can be a cost-effective marketing strategy because it reduces a lot of work and research on your part to find your target audiences. When you build relationships with them, they can be your brand ambassadors.

Use inbound marketing to attract your audiences.

This is a great way if you want your business brand to be recognized in your industry. Using this strategy entails a lot of marketing effort in creating content. This content can be in the form of digital books, videos, email blasts or shareable graphics.

Share your content in social media.

Ask your family, relatives and friends to share the content you create with their own friends and followers. You can also ask the help of a third-party marketing to make sure you have the appropriate keywords to increase the visibility of your shared content.

Gather testimonials

Testimonials of happy and satisfied customers can attract other potential customers to purchase your product. Ask your loyal customers to provide written testimonials or appear in a promotional video. Most customers are happy to share their satisfying experience with the product they are using and they can be your brand advocates.

Form W-2

The new deadline for filing of copies (whether you file in paper forms or electronically) together with Form W-3 to the Social Security Administration is January 31, 2017. The change was made so that the IRS can match the information readily to prevent fraudulent tax refund claims. See instructions to the W-2 and W-3.

  • If you are not an ALE, you must complete Form 1095-B if you have a self-insured plan, such as a health reimbursement arrangement.

The new transmittal dates for copies of the 1095s, along with Form 1094-B or Form 1094-C, are February 28, 2017 in paper forms and March 31, 2017 electronically.Find more details here for: the instructions to these forms and transmittals.
